Fuerza Latina is a vibrant and dynamic community centre located in Maple, dedicated to celebrating and empowering the Latin American community in Vaughan. From the annual Vaughan Latin Festival to the Fuerza Latina Dance Group Jr. , there are a variety of programs and events offered to cater to all ages and interests.
The Be Job Ready program is designed to equip individuals with the skills needed to succeed in the job market, offering support to recent graduates, career changers, and those looking to advance in their careers. Additionally, the Dress Job Ready initiative provides participants with valuable job preparation skills and a $100 gift card to help revamp their work attire.
The Mujeres Latinas Network International program is a free community initiative that aims to support Latina women in establishing business relationships, forming strategic alliances, and discussing topics of interest in daily life. Furthermore, the Adelante streaming live show is dedicated to educating and motivating the youth in the community.
Fuerza Latina also hosts the Latin Excellence Award to recognize the achievements and contributions of members of the community, as well as the Fuerza Latina Glam Gala to celebrate 20 years of serving the Latino community. With a focus on advancing youth leadership, providing cultural experiences, and offering support groups and events, Fuerza Latina continues to be a pillar of support in the Vaughan community.
