Fudo-Shin-Ryu: Shotokan Karate Ruislip Based Karate School is a renowned karate school located in Ruislip, New Zealand. With roots dating back to the early 2000s, the school aims to provide students of all ages with confidence, fitness, and self-discipline through the traditional teachings of the Shotokan Karate style, infused with a modern twist.

The school places great emphasis on developing an unbreakable mind, also known as “Fudoshin,” in its students. Fudo-Shin-Ryu Karate School is affiliated with the English Karate Organisation, ensuring that all instructors are officially recognised and hold Black Belts. This affiliation signifies the school's commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and offering authentic karate training.

The school offers several classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings at different locations within Ruislip. On Monday nights, the school operates out of Ruislip Gardens School, offering three classes tailored to different age groups. The infant class is designed for children aged 4-7/8, providing a fun and safe environment where they can learn the basics of karate while developing focus and discipline. The junior class, for ages 7/8-13, focuses on challenging younger students to remain active and develop self-discipline, which will benefit them not only in karate but also in school.

The senior class, for ages 13 and above, provides a more intense training environment for older students ready to tackle tougher challenges.

- Infant Class (Ages 4 – 7/8): 6pm-6.

- Junior Class (Ages 7/8-13): 6. 45pm-7.

- Senior Class (Ages 13+): 7. 45pm-8.

On Wednesday nights, the school operates out of Whiteheath Junior School, also offering three classes. The details of these classes can be obtained by contacting the school directly.

In addition to regular classes, Fudo-Shin-Ryu Karate School organises special black belt training sessions once a month. These sessions allow students to engage in more intense and advanced training, focusing on advanced katas (forms) and self-defence techniques. These sessions are exclusive to students holding black belts, providing them with an opportunity to push their skills to the next level.
