Just wanted to share a bit about what’s happening at Friern Barnet, North Finchley and East Finchley Taekwon-Do, led by our very own Master J Moreno. This isn’t just any martial arts school; it’s a community hub right here in London, following the ITF Korean Martial Art tradition.
Master J Moreno’s been in the game since '73, starting his journey in Mexico City and eventually making his way to the top under Grand Masters like GM Hector Marano and GM Lan. He’s a Black Belt VII Degree holder and he’s got bags of experience and passion for teaching.
The school’s got something for everyone. Little Panthers (4.5–6 years old), Juniors (7-12 years old), and Teens/Adults (13+). Each group gets the attention they need with the Junior classes split further into beginners and intermediate/advanced. And the vibe? Friendly, safe, and just the right amount of disciplined.
We’re based in North London, so if you’re around Crouch End, Hornsey, Muswell Hill, Finsbury Park, Camden, Hampstead, Highgate, Finchley, Friern Barnet, or Hackney, it’s super easy to get to us. But hey, even if you’re from a bit further out, you’re still very welcome.
Master J Moreno set up the PANTERA Taekwon-Do Clubs in '97 after becoming an instructor in '94, and the school’s hooked up with ITF England. He’s not just teaching kicks and punches; it’s a full-on package of discipline, confidence, and integrity.
