The 5th Dimension Tennis Club in Glen Waverley is excited to announce their Friday Tennis Program, designed specifically for primary school-aged children. This program offers a fun and engaging experience, allowing kids to develop their tennis skills right from the beginning.
The coaching team at 5th Dimension Tennis is highly experienced and Tennis Australia certified. With their expertise and the use of modified equipment like mini tennis nets and compression balls, your child is guaranteed to have a blast while learning the sport.
The program takes place every Friday afternoon at Glen Waverley Primary School, in the school gymnasium. It caters to students from prep to Grade 5, with Grades 2 to 5 students expected to meet the coaches in the gym after school. Parents will need to arrange transportation to ensure their child reaches the gym on time.
For our younger participants, prep and Grade 1 students, we offer a convenient collection service from the Early Learning Centre. However, if parents are present on school grounds and prefer to personally walk their child to the gym, that's absolutely fine too. Just remember to arrive about 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson finish time to pick your child up promptly.
Each lesson has a duration of 30 minutes, and the fee stands at a reasonable $22.00 per lesson. For a full term of eight weeks, the total cost is $176.00. To secure a spot in the Term 1 2024 program, registration is due by January 30th, and payment is expected by February 1st, 2024. You can conveniently make your payment directly to Commonwealth Bank using the provided account details.
Once registered, there is no need for any further confirmation. Your child's spot in the program is secured. However, we understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. If your child needs to miss a lesson, make-up lessons are allowed for a maximum of two missed sessions per term. Please ensure that any missed lessons are rescheduled and completed within the current term.
Lastly, we want to highlight that refunds for missed lessons due to personal reasons are not provided. We kindly ask that payment for the coaching program be made directly to our coaching staff, rather than the school office, to ensure smooth processing.
