Free Elements Dance Studio in Terrace is a vibrant and inclusive dance school offering a range of classes for youth, preschool children, and adults. With a focus on combining technique, strength, and creative movement, our studio provides a welcoming space for dancers of all levels to explore the joy of dance. Our classes cover styles such as Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Acrobatics, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Variety, and Musical Theatre.
For the little ones, we offer session-based Creative Dance classes for children aged 2 to 5 years, helping them develop a love for movement and expression. We also offer session-based Adult classes for those looking to enhance their dance skills or simply enjoy a fun and active way to stay fit.
At Free Elements Dance Studio, we are proud to have a General Program that caters to dancers of all levels, as well as a performing/competitive pre-professional Dance Company. Our Company dancers are accepted through invitation/audition only, offering a challenging and supportive environment for those looking to take their dance skills to the next level.
Our studio is certified by the CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) and ADAPT (Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers), and currently offers dance exams in Jazz & Classical Ballet. We run our classes at two convenient locations in Terrace, BC - Skeena Middle School and The Terrace Yoga Studio.
