Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing is a boutique fitness studio located in the heart of Caloundra, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia. The studio offers a wide range of classes including strength and conditioning, circuit training, lift, core yoga, and mat pilates. The team at Foundation Fitness aims to help individuals build a foundation for a healthy body that ages well, focusing on training in a kind and sustainable way to achieve long-lasting results.

One unique aspect of Foundation Fitness is their Pilates in the Park programme. Taking advantage of the stunning surroundings of Caloundra, the studio offers outdoor Pilates classes at Shelly Beach every Tuesday at 7am and Thursday at 5pm. Pilates in the Park provides a game-changing experience for both the mind and body, allowing participants to connect with nature while benefiting from the holistic practise of Pilates. These classes are free for Foundation Fitness members, with packages available for new members.

At Foundation Fitness and Wellbeing, the team understands that every individual is unique and at a different point in their fitness journey. Lift, utilising various deadlifting techniques, targets all major muscles while improving posture and strengthening the back. Strength programmes focus on maintaining and building muscle as individuals age, increasing strength and enhancing daily functional movements. Circuit training is a high-volume workout designed to boost fitness levels, improve muscular endurance, and increase metabolism.

Core Flow Yoga combines the benefits of yoga and Pilates to develop balance, flexibility, core strength, and relaxation. Finally, mat pilates utilises bodyweight resistance movements to target and enhance core and joint strength and stability, incorporating muscle control, accurate breathing, flexibility, strength, and body awareness.

Carly, a satisfied member, mentioned that she always looks forward to attending classes due to the mix of fun, fitness, and health, as well as the supportive environment provided. Jo-Anne, another member, expressed her satisfaction with the small class sizes, experienced trainers, and the gym's emphasis on safety and individual adaptation.
