Located outside the Bristol Clean Air Zone within Berkeley Centre Health, on the lower ground floor of 3 Berkeley Square, Clifton, Bristol, the clinic is easily accessible. Unfortunately, it does not have disabled access, but there is metered parking available directly outside the clinic for your convenience. The clinic also provides disposable 11R face masks and hand sanitiser for clients who prefer to use them during their visits.
The proud owner of Footworks Orthotics is Martin Bell, an extended scope practitioner for the NHS musculo-skeletal GP service. Martin specialises in treating complex hip, knee, and foot injuries and provides specialist training for GP's, health practitioners, and walking groups. His area of expertise lies in Lower Kinetic Chain Dysfunction, which involves instability in the interconnected leg and hip system, leading to flat feet, poor knee control, loss of balance, hip/back pain, and fatigue. Martin uses his expertise to help correct poor foot posture, improve knee control, restore hip and buttock function, correct poor posture, and regain balance.
Given the importance of feet in maintaining the stability of the lower limb, Footworks Orthotics offers prescribed custom orthotic insoles that can significantly benefit individuals by improving foot stability and leg control. Furthermore, recognising the prevalence of walking-related injuries, both in his NHS and private clinics, Martin created “Perfectly Poised” to teach ladies how to enhance their strength, balance, and walking posture.
