Footings Dance Studio is a unique and inclusive dance school located in Ormeau, Australia. The studio is led by the talented and experienced Artistic/Creative Director, Taylor Beer. Taylor began dancing at the age of 2 and has since completed her Cert IV and Diploma in Dance. With her extensive training and dance abilities, Taylor has had the privilege of performing in shows both overseas and throughout Australia. These experiences have fueled her passion to share her knowledge and help her students reach their desired goals.

Taylor is a highly technical teacher who emphasises technique and attention to detail in her classes. With her strong choreography, her students and the studio have received numerous awards at both group and solo competitions. Taylor's ultimate ambition is to create opportunities for all students to enjoy the art of dance and aerial silks training, while instilling in them the belief that they can achieve anything with hard work and dedication. The studio operates under the motto “One Team, One Dream.

Footings Dance Studio also boasts other talented instructors, such as Larissa Henderson, who specialises in acrobatics and ballet. Larissa has achieved qualifications and taken exams in RAD, Cecchetti, and BDO. While she is trained in and has taught various dance genres, Larissa's true passion lies in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and technique. Her skills have led her to secure contracts for cruise lines and dance productions, and her choreography has won numerous national titles.

The studio offers a wide range of classes throughout the week, catering to different age groups and dance styles. From elite acrobatics teams to hip hop and lyrical/contemporary classes, there is something for everyone.
