Did you know? Footgolf has an interesting history. It was said to be introduced by Juan Manuel Aensi, a Barcelona player. The first-ever footgolf tournament took place on a golf course in Holland in 2008, organised by Bas Korsten and Michael Jansen.
The tournament attracted professional footballers from Belgium and Holland, adding a competitive edge to the game.
