Football Registrations

Registrations for the 2024 basketball season are now open at Kensington Flemington Junior Sports Club! If you or someone you know is interested in playing basketball, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved.

Players of all ages, from U8s to U18s, are welcome to sign up and join our boys, girls, or mixed teams. It's a great way to stay active, make new friends, and improve your basketball skills.

Registering is quick and easy with our new system, PlayHQ. Simply head to our website and follow the registration process. And if you have two or more players in your family, don't forget to email us for a voucher number to receive the family discount.

But that's not all! As part of our early birth offer, players who register before 15 February 2024 and purchase our awesome branded sports duffle bag will have their initials printed on the bag for free! These duffle bags are not only stylish but also practical for carrying all your basketball gear. They are available for just $39.99 and can be bought during the registration process.

Now let's talk about the fees. For single players, the registration fee is $308 including GST. And if you're registering as a family with two or more players, the fee is $554.40 including GST. But here's some exciting news – if you're eligible for the Get Active Kids Voucher Program, you can receive a fantastic discount of $200 per child when registering. That's a great way to save some money while staying active!

We know you're eager to get started, so mark your calendars – training for the 2024 season will begin in February for U16-18 teams and in March for all other teams. In early 2024, we'll announce the specific training times on our website, so keep an eye out for that. Our training sessions will take place at JJ Holland Park, conveniently located between Kensington Rd and Childers St. And don't worry about parking – there's plenty available along Childers Street.

As for the matches, the 2024 season fixtures will be released by the Western Region Basketball League (WRBL) prior to the season kickoff. Typically, matches are played on Sundays, both at home and various locations in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Our younger teams will have their games in the morning, while the older teams will hit the court in the afternoon.
