Simon, the organiser of FLYUP Downhill FOD, invites the sports community to experience this premier cycling park located in Coleford, England. Established in 2010, Simon has created a facility designed to maximise riding time and minimise the effort of pushing up trails, inspired by his passion for downhill riding.
Situated at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre, the park offers an uplift service to help riders easily reach the top of the trails. This service was officially launched with permission from the Forestry Commission in May 2010.
Besides FLYUP Downhill FOD, Simon also operates The 417 Bike Park, the largest privately owned mountain bike facility in England. This venue accommodates a wide range of riding disciplines, welcoming riders of all skill levels.
The FLYUP team is committed to outstanding customer service. For any questions or queries, they are available to assist. You can contact them at admin@flyupmtb.co.uk or book an uplift through their website.
The uplift service runs from 10am to 4pm, with a lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:20pm. Note that during winter months, the service may conclude slightly earlier due to reduced daylight. It’s advisable to check the park’s website or contact the team for the latest information.
Safety and enjoyment are paramount at FLYUP Downhill FOD. The team maintains trails to high standards, ensuring they are well-marked and safe for all riders. For trail updates and more information, visit the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre website.
Whether you’re an experienced downhill rider or a beginner, Simon and his team at FLYUP Downhill FOD welcome you to an exhilarating and unforgettable riding experience. Come and explore the fantastic opportunities available at this exceptional park.
