See bio At Flying Start Children's Riding Centre, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality horse riding lessons for children aged 3 years and up. With over 25 years of experience, we have established ourselves as a reputable riding school in Taunton.
Owned and operated by Vicky Wyatt, who has a wealth of experience and equestrian qualifications, Flying Start is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn to ride. Vicky's passion for horses began at a young age, and she has dedicated her career to sharing that passion with others.
We offer a range of lesson options to cater to the needs and abilities of our students. Our 40-minute group lessons are structured sessions that allow riders of similar abilities to progress through gradings. For those who prefer one-on-one instruction, we also offer private lessons with our experienced instructors.
In addition to our riding lessons, we are proud to be a part of the Keeping Britain's Horses Healthy Campaign. We believe in prioritising the health and well-being of our horses, and we strive to instil those values in our students as well.
