Quick update from Flying Rackets Badminton Club in Windsor! Jane, our organiser, just wanted to send a little note to keep you all in the loop. 🏸
Here’s what’s happening:
Every Monday evening from 7:30 pm to 10 pm, we gather at Trevelyan School for club nights. It’s a great chance to play some badminton and hang out. And for those who fancy it, a bunch of us usually head to the local pub afterwards for a chat and a laugh. 🍻
We’ve got teams playing in the Bracknell and Reading Leagues, and anyone keen to get involved in league matches is more than welcome. Just a heads up though, we can’t take complete beginners at the moment, but if you’ve got some experience, come along!
Visitor fees are £7 per evening, so feel free to drop by and give it a go.
Exciting news for 2024 – we’re starting a Junior club! Junior sessions are also on Mondays, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. First session’s free, so bring the young ones along and let them fall in love with badminton. For more info, give Hamazb a ring at 07712 452154 or Chris at 07778 831516.
