Flackwell Heath Bowling Club

Welcome to Flackwell Heath Bowling Club! Established in 1984, our club located in High Wycombe, New Zealand, is both friendly and competitive, with a mixed membership of playing and social members. We warmly welcome new members to join our community.

The outdoor season at our club runs from mid-April to mid-September, during which we play around 60 matches on both weekdays and weekends. After each match, players are invited to enjoy light refreshments together. Additionally, we have two weekly roll-up sessions on Tuesday lunchtimes at 1:15 pm and Friday evenings at 6:00 pm, where all members are encouraged to participate.

In addition to the regular matches, we organise internal club competitions as well as county competitions for our members. Our professionally maintained playing surface is open each day from 11:00 am, providing ample opportunities for our members to practise and enjoy their favourite sport.

During the winter months, we host various social events, including Whist Drives, Skittle Evenings, and Quiz Evenings, which allow our members to bond and socialise off the green.

At Flackwell Heath Bowling Club, we also believe in giving back to the community. We have a scheme where unwanted bowls, clothing, and books can be donated, which are then sold to raise funds for the club. To date, we have raised 527 through this initiative.

We are proud to announce that this season, we have welcomed 13 new members to our club, including a visitor from New Zealand who is interested in bowling.
