When you're not busy showing off your skills on the court, you can head over to our fully stocked bar, which is open every night from 6 pm. Now, let's get down to the nitty-gritty of the netball event. Here are some important details you need to know:
Competition Info:
- Game Duration: Each game will have a 40-minute time slot, allowing you to make the most of your time on the court.
- Game Times: We offer game slots on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, starting from 6 pm. Choose the day that suits you best and get ready for an exhilarating match.
- Game Fees: It costs $80 per game, and you can make your payment at the football counter on game night. We also accept split payments, making it easier for everyone to contribute.
- Nominate your team: Whether you want to join as a team or an individual player, simply make an enquiry or nominate yourself, and we'll take care of the rest. We want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate and enjoy the sport.
When it comes to the competition rules, we have a few things in place to ensure fair play and smooth coordination:
- All players must register their full name, phone number, and email on the team list. It helps us stay in touch and keep you updated about any important announcements.
- As for accessories, make sure to remove any jewellery or loose items before the start of the game. If they can't be removed, tape them to the satisfaction of the Referee. Safety is our priority, and we want to avoid any potential accidents or injuries.
- To be eligible for the finals, players must have played a minimum of 3 games. It's an opportunity to showcase your skills and earn a chance to compete in the ultimate showdown.
Lastly, we want to emphasise the importance of player policies:
- Playing at our netball club is at your own risk. We prioritise your safety, but it's essential to understand that there are inherent risks involved in any sport.
- If your team plans to forfeit a game, we kindly ask for 48 hours notice. It helps us manage the schedule and find a suitable replacement team if necessary. However, please remember to call us at 93001600 instead of emailing for a faster response.
- In case a team forfeits without giving 48 hours notice, and we can't find a replacement team, the full game fee ($150) will be added to the team's account. It's a measure we have in place to maintain fairness and respect everyone's commitment.
- By joining our leagues and registering with SPAWTZ, each player acknowledges and accepts our terms and conditions. We want everyone to have a positive experience and enjoy their time on the court while abiding by the rules.
