The gym is owned by Nedd & Kim, who fell in love with Fitstop as members in 2020. Fitstop made such a huge impact on their lives that they decided to bring the Fitstop Difference to Townsville! The community at Fitstop Hyde Park was born from the desire to unleash the inner athlete in everyone in a competitive yet equally supportive group training environment.
Let's meet the team at Fitstop Hyde Park! The heart and soul of the #58 Fam is Nedd Edgar, the Head Trainer and Manager. Nedd has been a Fitstopper for 3 years and thrives off helping people become happier, healthier humans. His favourite thing about Fitstop is the community and how everyone pushes each other to be the best version of themselves.
You will always catch him in every session, but his favourite is the Perform session.
Another member of the team is Marvin Nui, a dedicated Fitstop Coach. Marvin has recently made a career change to be a part of the #58 Fam full-time. He is passionate about fitness and devoted to giving you the best 50 minutes of your day. His favourite thing about being a Fitstop Coach is showing people how to unleash their limitless potential.
His favourite session is Condition, which he finds every Wednesday.
Fitstop Hyde Park offers a variety of workout sessions to cater to different fitness goals and preferences. These sessions include LIFT, PERFORM, CONDITION, and SWEAT.
LIFT is a strength-based session that focuses on progressive overload and functional strength. Expect compound lifts, isolation exercises, stability, and mobility to improve movement quality and overall muscle development.
PERFORM is Nedd's favourite session, and it aims to enhance athletic performance through a combination of strength, power, and agility exercises.
CONDITION is Marvin's favourite session, and it is designed to push your limits and improve cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and overall conditioning.
SWEAT is a high-intensity session that will make you work up a sweat and burn calories using a variety of cardio and bodyweight exercises.
