Unlike traditional gym workouts, Fitness in the Community offers a person-focused approach that can serve as an alternative or complement to the gym environment. With the goal of enhancing and improving the overall health of the local community, Fitness in the Community takes fitness out on the road and into village halls. This unique approach aims to make fitness more accessible and less intimidating for individuals who may lack confidence or have personal health concerns.
Led by the experienced and qualified fitness instructor, Kath Patrick, these classes provide a supportive and welcoming environment. Kath, who also has a background in nursing, is passionate about helping others maintain their health and fitness. Her knowledge and energy infuse each class, ensuring participants have a positive and enjoyable experience.
To join these empowering classes, all you need to bring is £4, a water bottle, and a towel. Don't forget your trainers too, as they will come in handy during the various exercises and movements.
