Training, I was exposed to a wide range of dance styles including Commercial, Jazz, and Contemporary. I fell in love with the versatility and excitement that dance offers, and went on to further my training at The Centre Performing Arts College.
Since joining the Fi Steps teaching team in Crawley, I have had the pleasure of sharing my passion for dance with students of all ages and abilities. I believe in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where students can develop their skills and grow in confidence. I am dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential, whether they are pursuing dance as a hobby or have dreams of a professional career.
At Fi Steps Performing Arts, our focus is on providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our students. We aim to create a safe and secure space where children and teenagers can feel at home and express themselves freely. We do not put our students through exams, instead emphasising the importance of having fun and working as a team. Many of our students have found that being a part of our dance community has helped them build confidence and self-esteem.
One of the unique aspects of Fi Steps is the opportunity to learn routines from a variety of dance styles, ranging from Street to Musical Theatre. Our teachers, including myself, have a wealth of experience and expertise in their respective fields. From Hip Hop and Commercial Lyrical to Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, we offer a diverse range of classes to cater to the interests and abilities of our students.
Over the years, Fi Steps has established itself as a leading dance school in Crawley. Since our founding in 1991, we have performed over 1000 routines and produced 33 school shows. Our students have also had the incredible opportunity to perform in prestigious venues such as London's West End, on cruises, and even at Disneyland Paris. Additionally, we have been honoured to have patrons such as Rhimes Lecointe and Denise Welch, who support and inspire our students.
