Our experienced and passionate captain, Jake, has been fishing since he could walk. With years of experience and a deep love for the sport, he knows the waters of Port Douglas like the back of his hand. Jake has fished all over Australia, from chasing Snapper in South Australia to battling Giant Black Marlin in Port Douglas. He has worked as a chef on Heron Island and Lord Howe Island before deciding to pursue fishing full-time.

Jake has competed in numerous heavy and light tackle competitions and has fished in remote locations such as Princess Charlotte Bay and the Gulf of Carpentaria. His true passion lies in making his customers smile and providing them with unforgettable fishing experiences.
