With well-maintained banks, tarred roads, and a convenient footbridge granting access to both sides of the river, anglers can enjoy a comfortable and hassle-free fishing experience at Mayen Estate.
In the previous year, the Mayen House & Stobiehaugh Beat witnessed remarkable returns, with anglers catching and releasing 42 salmon and 15 sea trout over 100 rod days. Additionally, guests at Mayen Estate have the opportunity to fish on the adjacent Mains of Mayen & Corniehaugh Beat, although availability is limited to one week per four weeks.
To make your stay even more convenient, Mayen Estate offers a variety of self-catering holiday properties for short or long stays, subject to seasonal availability. When you're not fishing, you can enjoy the stunning gardens and grounds on the estate, as well as partake in activities such as clay pigeon shooting and game shooting.
