Welcome to Fisherrow Yacht Club, a friendly sailing club located in Musselburgh, just a short distance from Edinburgh. Whether you are a yacht or dinghy sailor, a boat owner or non-owner, a beginner or an expert, we warmly welcome new members to join our vibrant community.

Sailing at FYC is not only fun but surprisingly affordable, making it accessible to people of all ages and abilities. We believe that sailing should be enjoyed by everyone, and we offer a range of training programmes to help you develop your skills. From dinghy training to powerboat courses and race skills, our experienced instructors are here to support your sailing journey.

For those with a competitive streak, we organise regular weekend and evening races for both dinghies and yachts. It's an excellent opportunity to put your skills to the test and enjoy the thrill of racing on the water.

Fisherrow Yacht Club is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCO 45711) and is affiliated to the RYA (Royal Yachting Association). We are also proud members of the Forth Yacht Clubs Association.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of social, sailing, and training events at the club. These are conveniently scheduled in our Main Calendar, which you can refer to for details. Don't forget to check our volunteer barperson's email each week, as our bar is open every Friday from 9-11pm (sometimes from 8pm during winter hours). As a benefit of your membership, our club rates are well below commercial prices.
