Fireflies Dance

Welcome to Fireflies Dance, a community interest company located in the heart of Queen's Park, London. Since 2010, our dance school has become an integral part of the local community, dedicated to fostering a love for dance and making our classes accessible to all.

At Fireflies Dance, we offer classes in both ballet and street dance. Our ballet classes adhere to the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, providing students with the opportunity to participate in formal examinations and develop a strong foundation in classical ballet technique. Our street dance classes blend urban dance styles, creating a dynamic and energetic atmosphere that cultivates creativity and self-expression.

In addition to our regular classes, Fireflies Dance also extends its reach into various educational institutions. Our team of experienced instructors collaborates with nurseries, primary and secondary schools, further education centres, and youth facilities to deliver engaging workshops and comprehensive dance programmes. Whether it's a one-off workshop or a longer scheme of work, our aim is to inspire and empower young dancers at every stage of their educational journey.

As a community interest company, Fireflies Dance operates with a distinct mission. We believe that everybody deserves the opportunity to dance, regardless of their financial circumstances. In line with this ethos, all of our profits are reinvested back into the provision of our classes, ensuring that we can make our classes even more inclusive and accessible. To support this important cause, we seek grants and organise fundraising events.
