Field Farm Cross Country offers a range of services including Canter Track / XC, Cross Country Course, Lessons, Facilities, School Hire, and Guide. The Canter Track / XC features a 610m all-weather track with jumps ranging from 70cms up to 1m. It is a perfect place for riders to practise and train their horses in cross country. Lessons are available with Jo, a knowledgeable and experienced instructor who can provide guidance and training towards BHS exams.
Field Farm also offers facilities such as an indoor arena, outdoor arena, and new cross country fences.
The farm is owned by Jo and is situated in the heart of Quorn Hunting country in Wymeswold, Leicestershire. Field Farm is primarily a livestock farm with a herd of pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle. Jo and her children have created a cross country schooling course that is available for hire, as well as large indoor and outdoor arenas. Jo, a member of the BHS Fellowship and Instructors Association, offers tuition in all three disciplines and provides training towards BHS exams.
She also organises regular clear round show jump training, cross country training, and various types of clinics to improve flatwork and overall riding skills.
Field Farm Cross Country is not only a place for training and lessons but also offers livery services. They provide long-term luxury accommodation for horses at an affordable cost. Accommodation and stabling can be arranged for those who wish to come to Field Farm for intensive training towards exams or competitions.
