The Fernie Skateboard Park is a popular concrete, outdoor facility located at the intersection of Pine Avenue and Ridgemont Drive, close to the Fernie Aquatic Centre in British Columbia. The park is currently under construction and is set to open in 2024. It was established in 2001 through the hard work and dedication of a local group of citizens who raised funds, wrote grants, and put in countless hours to make it a reality.
The park offers an excellent spot for skateboarders and BMX bikers of all levels. It features several bowls and streetscapes, including a tight snake run with two bowls known as "The Death Skillet" and "The Wok", a 6ft half pipe, an 8ft quarter pipe with banks, tight and mellow banks, funboxes, a volcano, and rails. Whether you are a beginner learning the basics or a seasoned pro looking for a challenge, the Fernie Skateboard Park has something for everyone.
