Fernie Adaptive Snowsports-F. I. R. E is a non-profit society dedicated to providing individuals of all abilities with the opportunity to enjoy snow sports at Fernie Alpine Resort.
Our certified volunteer instructors are committed to helping our students experience the freedom of skiing and snowboarding. With the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to offer our services at an affordable cost, ensuring accessibility for all.
At our club, we believe in embracing the abilities of each individual, whether they are stand-up skiers/ snowboarders or sit skiers. Our motto is to “see the ability” in everyone and adapt our teaching methods to suit their specific needs. Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to explore the thrill of snow sports and build confidence on the slopes.
