Ferdinand Football Academy, located in Basildon, is a football club dedicated to the development of young players. Established in 2021, Ferdinand Football Academy is part of the Ferdinand Football Group Ltd (FFG) and is led by Anton Ferdinand, a former professional football player with an extensive career.

At Ferdinand Football Academy, their core values centre around inclusivity and creating a positive environment for all players, starting from as young as 2 years old. They believe in nurturing skills through their unique Ferdinand's Steps to Success programme, which encourages creativity and a positive mindset in training and thinking.

The team at Ferdinand Football Academy comprises experienced and dedicated professionals who have played and coached at professional levels. Anton Ferdinand serves as the FFG Director, bringing his years of experience as a former player for West Ham United, Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland, Bursaspor, Antalyaspor, and Reading.

Colin Wilson, a UEFA A Licenced Coach, is the Academy Manager at the club. Billy Hudson, a UEFA B Licenced Coach, holds the position of Head of Development. Rob Howard, a former professional player and Academy Coach, is responsible for strategy and partnerships. Amy-Rose Dodds, as the Head of FFG Goalkeeping Academy & Development, oversees the development of goalkeepers.

Ferdinand Football Academy is proudly sponsored by Players Lounge, Billericay, and conducts many of their classes, including Ferdinand Academy, at their flagship site with an indoor, 4G pitch. They offer a range of services, including academy training, one-to-one training, football/futsal parties, and programmes in schools.
