Them develop their skills and reach their full potential. Our junior archery programme is open to children aged 13 to 16 years, providing them with coaching and equipment for just $10 per child. This programme is a fantastic way to introduce children to the sport of archery and foster their love for it.
In addition to our junior programme, we also offer a Kids Club for children aged 6 to 12 years. This club takes place every Wednesday afternoon from 4pm to 5pm, allowing kids to join in the fun and excitement of archery in a safe and engaging environment.
At Feral Archery, we pride ourselves on being inclusive and welcoming to archers of all abilities. We work closely with disability groups to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to enjoy the sport. We have worked with several disability services and individual archers, tailoring our coaching and assistance to meet their unique needs. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please reach out to us for more information.
Our archery range is also available for school group bookings, with sessions open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:30am and 2:30pm. We charge a discounted rate of $10 per person for school groups, allowing students to engage in a fun and challenging sport during their school activities.
For those looking to get started or improve their archery skills, our highly skilled bow technicians are available to assist with equipment set-up and repairs. For just $30, our technicians will adjust draw length, nocks, D loop, peep, arrow rest, and provide basic sight adjustment. We are dedicated to helping archers achieve their goals and ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
At Feral Archery, we are proud to have internationally accredited coaches, Lynne and Peter Fairhall, who have been coaching professionally since 1997. They hold accreditation within the International Field Archery Association and the Australian National Archery Association. Lynne is also accredited as a Level 3 NFAA Coach in the USA and a Level 2 KiSik Lee Coach. With their expertise and guidance, our archers have achieved great success, including representing Australia in the 2018 Invictus Games and winning gold medals in various competitions.
We believe that archery is a sport for all ages, and we actively work with retirement villages to provide archery sessions on their grounds. Archers from Signature Gardens Retirement Village have been enjoying weekly sessions with us, highlighting that age is not a barrier in this sport. We are more than willing to come to retirement villages and accommodate their residents' archery needs.
If you are interested in joining Feral Archery or have any inquiries, please visit our contact page or call Lynne at 0418166783. We are committed to creating a vibrant and supportive archery community in Maitland and look forward to welcoming you to Feral Archery.
