The club specialises in English Country Dancing, specifically the Playford style, with occasional contra dances as a variation. The dances are not only beautiful to watch, but also fun to perform, which is why people from all walks of life meet at the club week after week, year after year, to learn and enjoy these traditional English folk dances.
The club warmly welcomes beginners and provides plenty of help and guidance to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and confident on the dance floor. All dances are “called,” meaning that the sequence of steps is announced during the dance, allowing even newcomers to participate and enjoy the experience.
