Nestled by the sea, the center features a 50-meter outdoor pool with a movable pontoon, a 33-meter indoor pool with a movable pontoon, a gym, accommodation facilities, and classrooms for training courses. Over the years, the center has hosted prestigious events such as the Italian National Summer Swimming Championships, the National Team Championship - Fallen of Brema Cup, the Italian Water Polo Cup, and various national youth championships in synchronized swimming and water polo.

Under the guidance of Technical Director Giuseppe Castellucci and owned by Rome's Municipal Government, Federal Center Polo Natatorio Ostia offers a diverse range of activities including swimming, men's and women's water polo, synchronized swimming, and lifesaving.
