Welcome to FDS Harrogate, a leading football club that has been coaching children in the town since 2003. Our goal is to help every child reach their full potential, both on and off the field. We welcome boys and girls of all abilities, aged 5–16 years, and provide a supportive and inclusive environment for them to develop their football skills.

Meet our head coaches, Stuart Owen and Mike Johnson. Stuart has a wealth of experience, having coached for Leeds United and worked with Simon Clifford's Brazilian Soccer Schools. Mike, on the other hand, trained at the original Brazilian Soccer School in Leeds and has been an FDS coach since 2011.
We take pride in our unique FDS Juggling Scheme, which has seen numerous young players achieve impressive juggling records. Through progressive challenges, our players develop world-class ball control and a stellar first touch. One of our players, Brandon Thompson, even performed an incredible 5,168 kick-ups with a tennis ball!
Our training programme focuses on small court sessions, allowing for more touches on the ball and developing players' skills in tight spaces. We teach around 200 core skills, turns, moves, and passing techniques, ensuring that our players are well-rounded on the field.
One aspect that sets us apart is our incorporation of Futebol de Salo, a South American 5-a-side version of football. This style of play with a smaller, heavier ball has produced many Brazilian legends such as Pele, Ronaldinho, and Neymar. In fact, 187 of our players have gone on to sign for professional academies.
