Fastwater Swim School

Swim School was founded in 2000 by Larissa Evison, a highly experienced swim teacher and coach with a degree in PE and Sport and 38 years of experience in the field. Larissa has taught and coached swimmers at both national and international levels, and has had the privilege of working as a swimming teacher and coach to The Prime Minister's family.

Fastwater Swim School caters to swimmers of all levels, from beginners to elite national swimmers. They offer a variety of classes, including elite, advanced, improvers, and beginners lessons. Private lessons are also available, either one-on-one or in groups of two. There are also adult groups available, both for mixed beginners and improvers and for ladies only.

In addition to teaching swimming, Larissa and her team have extensive experience in coaching triathlon swimming and competitive swimming. They also have experience in teaching adult beginners, children with learning difficulties and disabilities, as well as babies and toddlers. No matter what level or goal a swimmer has, Larissa has the knowledge and experience to help them achieve their dreams.

The main aim of Fastwater Swim School is to develop confident swimmers with a strong foundation in the techniques of swimming. They believe that high-quality swimming teaching is essential in providing children with the skills they need for effective and efficient swimming in the future.

The swim school operates during the autumn term, with lessons being held at the Wendover Pool on Thursdays and Saturdays. They also offer private one-on-one and one-on-two lessons at the Spirit Health Club on Sundays.
