Welcome to the official website for Farnborough Youth FC, a football club based in Farnborough, Hampshire. Established in 1991, Farnborough Youth FC is proud to be a FA Charter Standard club affiliated with Hampshire FA. The club provides a safe and inclusive environment for youth players to develop their football skills and enjoy the beautiful game.
Our club has teams competing in various age groups and leagues, including the North East Hants Youth League (NEHYL). We have teams ranging from Under 18 Spitfires to Under 10 Hurricanes Blues, Whites, and Yellows. Each team is led by dedicated and experienced managers who prioritise the development and well-being of our young players.
One of our recent accomplishments is winning the NEHYL Fairplay award for the 2020-2021 season, further demonstrating our commitment to fair play and sportsmanship. We take pride in fostering positive values and promoting good behaviour both on and off the field.
Our Under 18 Spitfires have achieved great success, earning promotion to Division 4 after finishing as runners-up in Division 6. The team continues to strive for excellence and aims to make further progress in the league.
We are also proud to have the Under 14 Jets, who compete in Division 3 of the NEHYL, and the Under 12 Vulcans Blue, our youngest team that has progressed from the successful Little Striker group. The Vulcans train at Samuel Cody Specialist Sports College on Monday evenings and play their home matches on the 3G pitch.
In addition to our youth teams, we have the Farnborough Youth Old Boys (Sunday) team, which provides opportunities for former youth players to continue their football journey. Led by Manager Scott Upward, the team participates in competitive matches and enjoys the camaraderie of playing together.
We would like to express our sadness at the passing of Charles Mortimore MBE, a respected figure in the football community. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
