Welcome to Farfield Livery Centre, located in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. As a long-established, family-run business, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for both horses and their owners. Whether you are looking for part livery or full livery, we offer a professional and personalised level of care for your horse or pony at competitive, all-inclusive rates.
At Farfield Livery, our facilities are second to none. We have two indoor schools and one outdoor school, all with Andrews Bowens Olympic standard surfaces. There is no extra charge for lights, and we also have a seasonal jumping paddock with a full course of jumps. Our spacious stables are fitted with revolutionary anti-cast bankings and rubber mats, ensuring the comfort and safety of your horse.
The stables are also equipped with chopped dust-extracted straw bedding. Additionally, we offer all-year turnout, with 24-hour access during the summer months.
For those who enjoy off-road hacking, our livery centre is situated on over 200 acres of picturesque Yorkshire Dales countryside. You and your horse can enjoy breathtaking 360 views of the area while exploring our well-maintained paths and trails. Our pastureland is segregated, regularly rotated, and well-drained, ensuring optimal conditions for grazing.
We understand the importance of convenience, which is why we provide free of charge trailer and lorry parking on-site. Our owners also live on-site, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for both horses and their owners. We pride ourselves on offering 24-hour equine and owner customer service, ensuring that both you and your horse are well taken care of.
When it comes to the health and well-being of your horse, we offer a range of services. This includes an efficient worming programme, home-made quality haylage, and all hard feed requirements catered for. We also provide a weekly farrier service and have an on-site Equine Dental Technician. Our technician has a calm, patient, and knowledgeable approach to horse dentistry, ensuring a relaxed and stress-free environment for your horse.
They are fully qualified and insured, keeping up to date with the latest techniques.
For those who are interested in lessons, we offer flat work and jumping lessons with our on-site instructors. Alternatively, you can choose to bring in an external instructor of your choice.
