At Family Goju Karate - Atwell, we follow the teachings of the renowned Sensei Gogen Yamaguchi, as outlined in his “Goju Ryu Karate-do Kyohan” or “Master Text”. This ensures that our training programme is rooted in tradition and provides a comprehensive and authentic learning experience.

We also have the privilege of working with Kyoshi Alex Alt, a highly respected practitioner and 7th Dan black belt holder. Kyoshi Alex conducts black belt gradings and key Kyu level gradings, bringing extensive knowledge and expertise to our school.

In addition to our regular classes, we offer specially designed parent and child combined classes several times a week. These classes provide a unique opportunity for families to train together and bond over the shared martial arts experience.

We understand that not all families are able to attend classes in person, which is why we offer online classes run over video conference. This allows parents to train with their kids while travelling or working remotely, ensuring that training can continue uninterrupted.
