Fort Widley Equestrian Centre is excited to announce the return of Family Fun Day 2024! On Sunday 7th July, Fort Widley invites locals to join in on a day jam-packed with thrilling sport activities. From Archery and the Rifle Range to the Junior Assault Course and Laser Tag in the moat, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to catch the Saddle Club in the Arena display and groove to the tunes by Ready to Rock. And for the little ones, there's a Soft Play Area, pony rides, and even a Kids V Staff Tug of War to keep them entertained.
For those interested in history, take a mini tour to explore the heritage of the Palmerston Fort, including its tunnels. When hunger strikes, there will be food vendors and a pop-up café on site for delicious refreshments. Parking is available in adjacent fields, so be sure to car-share or use public transport if possible. This event also supports a local charity dedicated to the community.
