False Creek Racing Canoe Club (FCRCC) is a dynamic and inclusive paddling club located on Granville Island in Vancouver. Established in 1985, FCRCC is a non-profit organization that offers a variety of paddling programs for all ages and skill levels. The club specializes in outrigger, dragon boat, sprint canoe, and kayak disciplines, providing a well-rounded paddling experience for its members.
FCRCC is proud to offer Spring and Summer Camps, as well as year-round racing programs for kids and youth. With a focus on teamwork, skill-building, and fun, FCRCC aims to instill a love for paddlesports in all its members.
Throughout the year, FCRCC hosts a variety of races, regattas, and club events, including the PNWORCA Winter Series Race, FCRCC Mar 2, 2024 and the FCRCC Knockout Dragon Boat Regatta 2024, May 11th, 2024. Coaches will have the opportunity to work with youth ages 7-15 in sprint canoe-kayak, dragon boat, and outrigger canoe disciplines. FCRCC offers an extensive in-house training program to support coaches in their role, creating a positive and engaging environment for campers to learn and grow.
In addition to coaching opportunities, FCRCC also offers memberships for individuals looking to join the paddling community and participate in club activities. Members have access to equipment, training programs, and exclusive events, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the paddling experience. Whether you're a seasoned paddler or a beginner, FCRCC welcomes you to be part of their vibrant paddling community in Vancouver.
