Whitby Gym & Circus invites girls and boys between the ages of 8-17 to take part in their acro classes, perfect for boosting their dance skills in a competitive setting. The classes are carefully crafted to help dancers improve their abilities in a secure and practical way, running from September 9th to December 19th. With classes available on different days throughout the week, participants will have the chance to refine their skills. Keep in mind that there won't be classes on October 6th-9th due to Thanksgiving and on October 31st for Halloween.
To participate, each individual will need valid Gymnastics Ontario insurance. For those who are uninsured, a $40.00 HST non-refundable insurance fee will apply. The classes will follow a customised level system created by experts in the field, aimed at boosting agility, balance, and coordination through a variety of skill levels. Starting off with basic moves like handstands and cartwheels, participants will progress to more intricate sequences including kickovers and roundoffs. As they advance, they'll delve into more challenging skills such as handsprings and tucks.
