These matches are played on a reciprocal basis, where half of each are played at home or away. Members can participate in “fun” bowling events, enjoy barbecues, indulge in delightful cream teas, and even partake in exciting trips to Hove Greyhound Racing. The highlight of summer at Fairlight Bowls Club is the Open Tournament held in July. This tournament sees up to 96 players divided into 24 teams, competing against each other. The proceeds from the tournament are donated to a designated charity. In the past, supported charities have included “Help for Heroes”, Prostate Research, Cancer Research, Myeloma UK, and St.
Michaels Hospice, among others.
