Nestled in the picturesque South Downs, our shooting range spans across 10 acres of enchanting woodland situated on an 800-acre farm. With such ample space, we can offer a diverse selection of shooting positions, providing a wide variety of targets to challenge even the most experienced shooter.
Whether you prefer the sporting or compak layout, both are designed to cater to shooting abilities that range from C class through to AAA. Our stands offer a blend of decked areas and naturally concealed spots among the trees, ensuring an immersive shooting experience. The strategically placed traps scattered throughout the site provide a thrilling and unpredictable encounter. You'll have the opportunity to test your skills against standards, midis, rabbits, and chondels targets. Game shooters will also find a welcoming home here, with our Grouse Butt, tower, driven targets, and an 8 trap flush available for practice.
At Polowood, we understand the importance of honing your skills. That's why we have experienced instructors who can guide you in loading and double gunning. If you have a game day booked and need some extra practice, our instructors are here to assist you. However, please remember that booking is required to ensure we can accommodate you.
