Exmouth Boat & Kayak Hire offers a wide range of quality hire boats, perfect for fishing, surfing, and diving in the pristine waters of the Ningaloo Reef. We also provide a convenient delivery service to Coral Bay and the surrounding areas. Our fleet includes 3. 8m dinghies, ideal for exploring the Ningaloo Reef and Exmouth Gulf, as well as 7.

85m plate aluminium boats for the more experienced anglers who wish to venture further out to the Murion Islands, Mackerel Islands, or the various islands within Exmouth Gulf.

Situated approximately 1200 km north of Perth, the Ningaloo Reef stretches for 260 km from Bundegi Reef at the tip of Exmouth Gulf to Amherst Point, just south of Coral Bay. What sets it apart is that it is the only large reef in the world located so close to a land mass, with some parts just 100 metres offshore. The Exmouth Gulf and its numerous islands offer protection from the open ocean and sea breeze, making it a haven for fishing, diving, and enjoying the water.

Exmouth and the Ningaloo Coast are a fisherman's paradise, boasting an abundance of fishing environments teeming with a wide variety of reef, game, and sport fish. Anglers can expect to catch popular species such as red emperor, rankin cod, estuarine cod, malabar grouper, coral trout, bluebone, snapper (spangled, blueline emperor), coronation trout, and many more. The continental shelf is just 2 miles from the reef's edge, creating an ideal hunting ground for large pelagic fish. Exmouth is home to billfish species such as blue, black, and striped marlin, sailfish, broadbill swordfish, and shortbill spearfish.

Other sought-after sports fishing species include yellowfin tuna, mahi-mahi (dolphinfish), wahoo, cobia, Spanish mackerel, and giant trevally. Every year, the Exmouth Game Fishing Club hosts the Gamex tournament in March, where participants have the chance to break records and reel in impressive catches.

Please call in advance to arrange pick-up as our yard is normally unattended.
