Exies Hockey Club, located at Wallabies Way, Hay Park, Bunbury WA 6230, is a proud and vibrant hockey club with a rich history and a strong sense of community. Originally formed in 1932 by Ex Students of Bunbury Senior High School, the club adopted the school's colours of Maroon, Royal Blue, and White, along with the High School Crest and Motto “En Avant”, which means Ever Forward.
Ever since its establishment, Exies Hockey Club has been dedicated to moving forward and creating a positive environment for all members. Whether you're a junior or a senior player, there is a place for you in the Exies family. The club offers teams for boys and girls in Year 1 to Year 12, as well as men's and women's teams in all grades, including South West League, A2, and A3 grades. Additionally, there are opportunities for masters men and women aged 35 years and over to enjoy the sport they love.
Exies Hockey Club takes great pride in its commitment to respecting the Traditional Custodians of the lands throughout Western Australia where the game is played. The club acknowledges and pays respect to elders past, present, and emerging, and is dedicated to fostering a positive future for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The club also celebrates diversity and inclusion, actively embracing LGBTQI+ diversity, inclusion, and pride in community sport. Exies Hockey Club welcomes players from all walks of life, creating an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can feel valued and respected.
