Go Figure PT, a Personal Training club in Maidenhead, is excited to promote their local Exercise Rehab event! This event is perfect for individuals who want to reach their fitness goals, improve their health, and enhance their quality of life. It aims to help patients recovering from cancer treatment, injury, or surgery by utilising Pilates-style exercises for physical and mental recovery.
For breast cancer patients post-treatment, Go Figure PT offers a specialised 8-week program that specifically addresses their needs. This program will be running from May 6th to July 1st on Fridays, from 10:45 to 12:00. Each class can accommodate a maximum of 3 participants and will be held in a private studio location. Make sure to check the class schedule for more detailed information.
For individuals with long-term conditions or injuries, Go Figure PT provides one-on-one packages tailored specifically to their needs. These sessions can last up to 1 hour and focus on exercises such as fascial release, stretches, and strength work. If you're interested in scheduling a session or learning more about these packages, please reach out to the organiser.
Exercise rehabilitation at Go Figure PT is all about identifying musculoskeletal imbalances that contribute to pain and discomfort, such as knee pain, back pain, hip pain, and frozen shoulder. By addressing these imbalances through corrective exercises, participants can improve their overall wellbeing and reduce the risk of future injuries. The program also educates participants about the impact of ineffective movement patterns on their posture, movement, and injuries.
Improper movement patterns and overuse of the body are common causes of pain and injury, but with guided exercises tailored to individual mobility restrictions, these issues can be corrected. Participants will also learn myofascial release techniques to release tension in the body.
By participating in exercise rehabilitation, individuals can gain a better understanding of how their body works and experience a wide range of benefits. These include improved range of movement, reduced stress, increased confidence, improved lymphatic drainage, enhanced mental health and wellbeing, stronger muscles, better posture, and reduced aches and pains associated with surgery or treatment.
So, whether you're recovering from cancer treatment, injury, or surgery, or simply looking to improve your overall health and wellness, don't miss this opportunity to join the Exercise Rehab event at Go Figure PT. All abilities are welcome, and Go Figure PT is ready to support individuals in their journey towards better health.
