Kimberley Gym & Swim, Nottingham's premier fitness club, is thrilled to be part of L Leisure's exercise for health scheme. This fantastic program is specifically designed to support individuals in living a healthier and happier lifestyle, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The exercise for health scheme aims to provide opportunities for people with underlying mental or physical health conditions to become more active and gain safe and effective access to a range of activities. Our highly qualified gym staff are always ready to offer support, encouragement, and guidance to participants. They can create personalised plans tailored to individual needs, helping them on their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
Participants in the scheme enjoy full and unlimited access to Kimberley Gym & Swim, as well as Bramcote Leisure Centre and Chilwell Olympia. It's all about providing options and making fitness accessible to everyone. So, if you're looking to shake off the lockdown blues and start your fitness journey, this is the perfect opportunity to do so!
Interested individuals can get involved by speaking to their local leisure centre or health professional about being referred to the exercise referral scheme. Eligibility will be determined by the health professional, who will ensure that the scheme is the right fit for each person's needs and conditions. We want to make sure that this program truly works for everyone who participates.
If you have any inquiries or require more information, please feel free to email [email protected]. Our dedicated team is here to assist you and provide any additional details you may require.
In addition to our involvement in the exercise for health scheme, we are excited to promote another local activity called Eastwood Wellbeing Walks. These fantastic walks support physical activity and overall wellbeing, making them a great addition to any fitness journey.
Taking place on the first Tuesday of every month, the walks start from The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum at 10am. They are absolutely free and are ideal for those who are new to exercise, have a health condition, or simply lack confidence. The pace is leisurely, ensuring it's accessible to all, and participants can look forward to a well-deserved free tea or coffee in the museum shop after the walk. It's an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and enjoy the beauty of Eastwood while taking care of your well-being. Plus, children, and dogs are more than welcome to join in on the fun!
For further information about these rejuvenating walks, please don't hesitate to contact The D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum at 0115 917 3824. Their friendly team will be more than happy to provide you with all the details you need.
So, whether you're interested in participating in the exercise for health scheme or joining the Eastwood Wellbeing Walks, Kimberley Gym & Swim is here to support you on your fitness journey. We can't wait to see you at one of these fantastic events – let's get moving together and make our health a top priority!
