Excel Fitness is a personal training studio located in Lincoln, New Zealand. The studio was established in February 2018 by Sean Taylor, a highly experienced personal trainer with 20 years of expertise in the fitness industry. Sean's vision was to create a private facility that offers a personal touch to clients while providing them with the latest range of equipment and exercise machines.
Sean's fitness journey began at a young age when he started bodybuilding at just sixteen. Although bodybuilding was not very popular at that time, Sean's passion for fitness pushed him to excel. However, he faced numerous injuries along the way, leading him to shift his focus to other fitness formats that applied a more functional approach. He went on to complete a FdSc degree in Sport and Exercise Development and explored new ways to train, such as CrossFit, which enhanced his stamina, strength, power, speed, and agility.
At Excel Fitness, Sean works with clients on an individual basis, tailoring workouts to their specific needs and goals. He believes in achieving long-term results through challenging and constantly varied workouts. His expertise lies in functional training, and he is constantly developing and implementing innovative fitness techniques.
In addition to one-on-one personal training sessions, Sean also offers small group classes, allowing individuals to work together in achieving their own fitness goals. These classes still provide personalised guidance and support to each participant.
As a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Sean holds certifications and specialisation in CrossFit, Nutrition, and Weight Loss. Clients can benefit from his wide range of knowledge and expertise in these areas.
