The origins of the club can be traced back to 1921, and it has undergone several changes over the years. In 2002, Ewell Ruxley CC merged with Deando CC, and the club was known as Deando Ruxley until January 1st, 2017, when it officially became Ewell Cricket Club. Notably, the club's 2nd XI won the premier Division of the Fullers league in 2013, earning them promotion to the prestigious Surrey Championship. In 2018, a 3rd XI was formed, which went on to have an undefeated season in 2019 and win Division 3 East of the combined Surrey Championship/Surrey County League 3rd&4th XI league. Currently, in 2023, the 1st XI is competing in Division 2 of the Shepherd Neame Surrey County League, the 2nd XI in Division 2 of Surrey Championship, and the 3rd XI in Surrey Championship Division 3 East.
The club's home ground is located at 27 Ruxley Lane and offers two cricket squares, spacious playing fields, ample car parking, a traditional clubhouse, and a fully stocked bar. The facility also boasts outdoor nets and top-of-the-range covers, providing excellent training and playing conditions.
