
Evolve MA is a combined Martial Arts club located in Aylesbury, Bicester, and surrounding areas. The club is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 17 years old, with the aim of building confidence and technique in a family-friendly environment.
The head coach of Evolve MA is Emma Payne, who holds a Black Belt status with the National Association of Karate and Martial Arts Schools (NAKMAS). Emma has been studying Martial Arts for almost 25 years, practising multiple styles including Tae Kwon-Do, Aikido, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, and Karate. She also cross trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and remains an active competitor, being the BJJ British Open Champion in 2017, BJJ European silver medallist in 2018, and BJJ British Open Bronze Medallist in 2018. Emma is passionate about passing on her Martial Arts knowledge to children and takes pride in seeing her students evolve and develop into capable and accomplished Martial Artists.
Opening her own Children's Martial Arts school has been a long-term aspiration for Emma, and Evolve MA is the realisation of that dream.
George Harvey, a coach at Evolve MA, started his Martial Arts journey at the young age of 4 and became one of Coach Emma's students at the age of 8. Now at 18 years old, George holds a Black Belt Dan Grade status in Tai-Jitsu and cross trains in Boxing. He also practises Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), currently holding a Blue Belt. George has been coaching as a member of a Junior Coaching Team with a local Tai-Jitsu club under the guidance of Coach Emma for the past 5 years.
Known for his natural coaching abilities, George has a remarkable knack for bringing out the best in his students and is greatly admired and respected by those he mentors.
Emily Wilson is another coach at Evolve MA who began her Martial Arts journey at the age of 5 and became one of Coach Emma's students at age 7. Now at 17 years old, Emily holds a Black Belt Dan Grade status in Tai-Jitsu and has also cross trained in Tae Kwon-Do. She recently started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), where she currently holds a Blue Belt. Emily has a passion for competing and has achieved several impressive titles including BJJ Junior Nationals Champion, BJJ Junior European Champion, and BJJ Abu Dhabi World Tour Silver Medallist.
Like Coach George, Emily has been coaching as a member of a Junior Coaching Team with a local Tai-Jitsu club alongside Coach Emma for the past 5 years. She possesses natural technical Martial Arts abilities and loves passing on her knowledge and skills to students who are enthusiastic about actively competing.
