Coach students in her spare time. Hayley went on to study Dance at college, where she gained a Distinction in her BTEC National Diploma. She then furthered her education by completing a BA (Hons) degree in Dance and Professional Practise, where she focused on contemporary dance and choreography.
After completing her degree, Hayley went on to work as a professional dancer, performing in various productions and shows across the UK. During this time, she also continued to teach dance, sharing her passion and knowledge with students of all ages and abilities.
In 2015, Hayley founded Evolution Dance with the aim of providing fun and friendly Freestyle dance classes in York and Selby. She wanted to create a welcoming environment where students of all ages could learn and grow as dancers, while also having a great time. The focus of Evolution Dance is not just on learning routines, but also on encouraging students to explore their own creativity and develop their own unique style.
Hayley is known for her energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to her students. She is a patient and gentle teacher, creating a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable to let loose and express themselves through dance. Her passion for dance is contagious, and she strives to instil confidence and skills that will positively impact other areas of her students' lives.
