Jane, a professional performer since 2007, blended her love for dance and the babywearing life after becoming a mum. With her sister, a sling peer supporter, they experimented with different dance moves and slings.
Even Jane's husband got into it, rocking a pink sling and discovering the macho side of baby carrying. As their baby enjoyed the ride, they shifted to a pink Hop Tie sling and stumbled upon a local sling dance class. Jane loved the vibe - relaxed, easy moves, and a place where her baby could nap or gleefully kick along.
After moving to Suffolk and finding no similar classes, Jane launched her own - Suffolk Sling Dance. It blew up quickly, and she even organised killer events like Halloween and Christmas parties. Jane also became a Babywearing Peer Supporter, balancing teaching and babywearing through her second pregnancy.
A family move to Oxfordshire for her husband's RAF job meant leaving Suffolk Sling Dance behind. But Jane wasn't done. She rebranded to Everybody Sling Dance, fitting any future location. Success followed her, and soon, she was forming strong bonds with her class regulars.
