The club's home ground, Kells Road, while the U11 to U16 teams play their home games at Watershed. The club also has a successful senior team that competes in the Kilkenny & District League.

Evergreen Football Club has a rich history, dating back to its formation in the early days of the Kilkenny Soccer League. The club was founded by Bill “Savy” Walsh and a group of passionate football enthusiasts who wanted to create a team that represented the city with pride. The club's anthem, “Come On Evergreen, till I die,” still echoes through the streets of Kilkenny and embodies the spirit of the club.

The club's junior teams have had great success in local and regional competitions, with the U19 team making it to the Leinster Final in 2015. Despite a challenging first half, the team showed determination and character in the second half, earning respect from both their opponents and supporters. The club's emphasis on developing young talent and instilling a never-say-die attitude in its players sets Evergreen FC apart as a club that values both skill and sportsmanship.

Evergreen FC's Schoolboy section is the heart of the club, with nearly 400 children participating in training sessions and matches throughout the season. The club runs a successful Saturday School for younger children, focusing on fun and skill development in a supportive environment. The club's dedication to nurturing young talent and providing a positive football experience for all its members is reflected in its continued success on and off the field.
