Everett wants to invite everyone to join the dance community, regardless of their age or ability. Dance, for her, is more than just movement; it’s a way to build self-confidence and essential life skills.

At the Everett-Fox School of Dance, there’s a variety of dance styles waiting for students aged 3 and up. You can dive into Ballet, Tap, Theatrecraft, Contemporary Modern Jazz, or Acrobatics Dance. Each style offers a fun and unique experience to express creativity and passion for dance.

Ballet, with its roots in the 17th century, focuses on grace, technique, and fluid movements. Tap is all about rhythm and has influences from African Jazz and Irish Step Dancing. It’s as lively today as it was back in the days of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly.

Theatre Craft gears students up for the stage, blending exercise, music interpretation, and artistic expression. Acrobatics Dance mixes gymnastics with dance routines, bringing an acrobatic flair. Contemporary Modern Jazz lets students explore various music genres, building strength, flexibility, and emotional expression.

Since opening in 2007, Everett-Fox School of Dance has been proud to partner with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). The Misterton studio is equipped with wall mirrors, ballet barres, and a special dance floor, creating a vibrant learning environment. Here, students don’t just pick up dance skills; they also gain confidence and self-esteem.

A highlight every year is the sell-out show at a local theatre, giving every student a chance to perform on a professional stage. There are also exams and awards for those keen on advancing their dance education. And for those with big aspirations, there are opportunities to dance in London’s West End and even Disneyland Paris.
